Tree Planting

We love planting trees in the city of Aspen! If you are interested in planting trees in the public right-of-way, please send an email with your location and species request to our forestry team to trees@aspen.gov for approval. Our forestry team members are happy to provide guidance on planting the right tree in the right place.

The following planting specifications are applicable to all new tree plantings in the City of Aspen:
