FALL FLAG FOOTBALL 2025
Registration for Fall Flag Football will open on July 22nd and will be open for 4 weeks or until all spots are filled. Registration will close August 19th. PLEASE NOTE: This is a hard deadline, and no late registrations will be taken.
Season Begins: September 2nd, 2025
Season Ends: October 11th, 2025
General Information
Depending on registration numbers, this may be an "in-house" league, in which teams will play other Aspen teams. There is the potential that the league will play with teams from Glenwood Springs, but this depends on registration numbers.
There are four co-ed playing age divisions (5/6 years, 7/8 years, 9/10 year, and 11-13 years). All teams will practice twice a week on Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday in Aspen. Practice times and spaces will be determined after registration depending on coaches’ and field availability. The location of games is to be determined based on registration numbers.
Should your child wish to play tackle football, Please go to the Mountain West Youth Football Page to register for 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade football in the fall. You can also contact Ron Morehead for more information on 970-618-0354.
Coaches
This program can only run with the help of our parent volunteer coaches, and if we cannot get enough parent volunteer coaches, we will not be able to run this program. Parent volunteer coaches will receive free registration for their child. If you would like to coach a team, please indicate this on the registration form or contact Nina Asher.
Referees
We are seeking community members who have experience refereeing flag football to join our team as a referee for Friday/Saturday games. If you are interested, please contact Nina Asher for more information.
