General Climbing Gym Rules: No one under 12 unsupervised without a parent or guardian. Anyone utilizing the climbing wall will have a current waiver on file. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver to participate. Any climber who wants to climb on top or lead rope needs to pass a belay certification test. You must be 14 years old to take the belay test. Climbing wall is open to the public during regular business hours for the Red Brick. Shoes are required to climb on the wall.Any climbing wall patron needs to have a waiver on file. WAIVER FORM
Classes are offered for beginners, intermediate and advanced climbers. No experience necessary, all equipment is provided. Private lessons are available at the Red Brick with Head Climbing Instructor Jeremy Graham. Call for times and availability: 970-920-5140.
YOUTH CLIMBING Rock Rats Kids Classes Kids will come away with more self confidence, lots of new friends, basic climbing techniques, safety awareness, and how to have fun in an alternative sports setting. Drop-ins are only available if the class is not fully booked. No classes on observed holidays. Classes meet one day a week on the specific day registered for. If you want to do 2 classes a week then just register for multiple days.
Sign up policy: Online discount for registration. Sign up by 18th of each month for current class participants to hold their spot. Open enrollment for new participants is the 18th of each month. Fees are discounted for observed holidays and weeks off.
You must sign up for the entire month to receive the monthly discounted rate. The per day drop in rate applies otherwise. Drop in spots only available if class is not full. First come/first serve.

Junior AROCK Unique opportunity for kids of 5-7 years old to climb outside in a beautiful and safe setting with a qualified instructor. All participants will be harnessed in on a top rope set-up, wearing helmets for safety. All technical climbing equipment will be provided.Max of 4 kids per day.
Cancellations: For 100% refund. Cancellation must be made 7 days before scheduled trip. A 50% refund will be provided for less than 7 days notice. No refunds for day of cancellation.

JR AROCK FORMS AND EQUIPMENT LIST AROCK The City of Aspen Recreation Department takes kids ages 8 and up out on the real rocks of Independence Pass. Join head climbing instructor Jeremy Graham for a day of climbing in the mountains of Aspen. Learn the basics of knots, rope work, belaying, rappelling and leave no trace principals of outdoor recreation. No experience or technical equipment is needed to participate. We only do top-roped climbing in the outdoorsetting, and all participants will wear helmets. All guides have first aid training. City of Aspen is operating under permit by the White River National Forest and are an equal opportunity employer. Daily Equipment List for Outdoor Club All equipment listed must accompany your child to ensure their well being and safety while outdoors in various weather conditions. It can get very cold in the summer months when it becomes wet, or windy. Please try and avoid cotten clothes.Wet cotton does not insulate, and your kids will be cold and miserable.
Climbing Days: Warm jacket, rain jacket, pants, tennis shoes, or boots (no sandals), 2x water bottles, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen,lunch and enough snacks for a fun day of climbing at 10,000 ft above sea level!
