YOUTH BASKETBALL 2026
Season Dates
Boys Basketball: January 6th to February 27th, 2026
Kinder & 1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed: April 6th to May 8th, 2026
- Registration Opens February 23rd, 2026
Girls' Basketball: October 19th to December 11th, 2026
- Registration opens September 14th, 2026
Boys' Basketball: January 4th to February 26th, 2027
Spring Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed Basketball
Registration for Spring Basketball 2026 will open on February 23rd and will be open for 3 weeks or until all spots are filled. Registration will close March 20th. PLEASE NOTE: This is a hard deadline, and no late registrations will be taken.
Season Begins: April 6th, 2026
Season Ends: May 8th, 2026
Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed Basketball General Information
This is an "In-House" league, in which we only play other Aspen teams through the recreation center. All practices AND scrimmages will take place in Aspen. There are two playing age divisions (Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade). Practice will be one day per week, with two scrimmages the last two weeks of the season.
Coaches
This program can only run with the help of our parent volunteer coaches, and if we cannot get enough parent volunteer coaches, we will not be able to run this program. Parent volunteer coaches will receive free registration for their child. If you would like to coach a team, please indicate this on the registration form or contact Nina Asher.
Fall Girls' Basketball 2026
We are preparing for Fall Girls' Basketball 2026; please check back for more information and registration dates by August 10th.
Girls' Basketball General Information
This is a Roaring Fork traveling league, in which we play teams from Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and Basalt. There are two age divisions (3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade). All teams will practice twice a week on Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday in Aspen. Practice times and spaces will be determined after registration depending on coaches’ and space availability. Teams will play games starting the second week of the season.
Winter Boys' Basketball 2027
We are preparing for Winter Boys' Basketball 2027; please check back for more information and registration dates by November 2nd.
Boy’s Basketball General Information
