Girls' Basketball General Information
This is a Roaring Fork traveling league, in which we play teams from Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and Basalt. There are two age divisions (3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade). All teams will practice twice a week on Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday in Aspen. Practice times and spaces will be determined after registration depending on coaches’ and space availability. Teams will play games starting the second week of the season.

November 6th—Glenwood Springs Dream vs. Aspen Storm, 6pm at GSCC
November 12th—Basalt 10 vs. Aspen Sparks, 7pm at BMS
November 12th—Aspen Mystics vs. Basalt 6, 7pm at AMS
November 13th—Aspen Storm vs. Glenwood Springs Valkyries, 7pm at AMS

Winter Boys' Basketball
Registration for Winter Boys' Basketball 2026 will on November 10th, 2025 and will be open for 3 week or until all spots are filled. Registration will close on December 12th, 2025. PLEASE NOTE: This is a hard deadline and no late registrations will be taken.
Season Begins: January 6th, 2026

Boy’s Basketball General Information

Spring Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed Basketball
Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade Co-Ed Basketball General Information
This is an "In-House" league, in which we only play other Aspen teams through the recreation center. All practices AND scrimmages will take place in Aspen. There are two playing age divisions (Kinder and 1st/2nd Grade).
- Kinder: Practice one day per week, one scrimmage on the last Friday.
- 1st & 2nd Grade: Practices on Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday.; scrimmages on Fridays starting the second week.
Coaches
This program can only run with the help of our parent volunteer coaches, and if we cannot get enough parent volunteer coaches, we will not be able to run this program. Parent volunteer coaches will receive free registration for their child. If you would like to coach a team, please indicate this on the registration form or contact Nina Asher.
