Rookie (Touch) Rugby

An Aspen tradition! We are now offering a mini Youth Rugby League for those in grades 1st thru 4th. This will be an introductory fun learning experience for the youth of our community. Children will be learning the game of rugby while minimizing any contact other than "two-hand touch" style of play.

Season:
February 9th - March 11th
(may be extended to include week before Spring Break if enough children are able to attend)

Practices:
Tuesday or Wednesday 3:15 - 4:15 at the Aspen Elementary school gymnasium.
Children will be placed on teams evenly, dependent upon size and ability.*
(If in high demand, we will consider either dropping Wednesday practice for a Monday OR
providing activities for school district children who would need to wait after early release - call Keith with questions.)

Games:
Will be played on Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 in a fun, instructional format.

Fee:
We are offering this program at an introductory fee of $49.
*Game Jersey and rugby ball included in fee to allow fun after the season is complete.
