Remote Control Crawlers

Rockin' RC Crawler Club, Mondays

Time: 9am - 2pm for current RC owners
Cost: $20 per day
Sign up for 1 day at a time or as many days as you would like to come. We will be modifying, maintaining, and working on our driving skills to prepare for this year's competition.

Rockin' RC Crawler Club 2 Day Camp, Camp has been cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
Dates: Monday July 12th and Wednesday July 14th
Please be signed up by June 18th to make sure we can order your kit and have it here by the start of the camp. You get to keep your kit for future use and all equipment needed is included in the package price. The kit has everything you need, including complete crawler, radio, batteries and battery charger. These kits are all-electric so no messy chemicals or fuels needed. These RC's are very durable and can be fixed and modified for years of fun. We will only order enough kits for the preregistered participants due to the cost of the kits. The package price for a complete kit and play time is $400. These are the real deal R/C's! Kids will learn about vehicle suspensions, parts of the drive train, what makes a vehicle work, and how to drive it! This program is for kids 8 and up. We will meet at the Red Brick Recreation Building at 110 E. Hallam St. #135.

Camp Hours 9am - 2pm and kids will need water, a lunch and some snacks.

We will be hosting the first Aspen Recreation Department remote control rock crawler competition this year in association with the High Desert Crawling Club. Date and time TBA.
