Freestyle Sessions
Freestyle sessions are designed for the skater who desires extra time for practice in a figure-skating-only environment. These sessions have no age restrictions and are open to all levels of figure skaters - even wall-hugging beginning adults. Skaters can work on basic skills, moves in the field, freestyle, dance, and even figures! Private lessons may be scheduled during these sessions.

Fees: $10.50 per session; $180 for a 20 session punch card

Check monthly calendar for current sessions.

ADULT & TOT PLAYGROUP CLASS
These classes are designed for adult skaters with children 6 years and younger (no minimum age).  This class is formatted to be like a playgroup rather than a formal class.  Skaters will begin to learn the basics of skating through the use of toys and games.
Adult & tot playgroup will not be held during the summer. We will begin classes again in October.

A NOTE TO THOSE INTERESTED IN PLAYING HOCKEY:
USA Hockey recommends that beginning hockey players learn to skate before putting a stick in their hand. Therefore, the Aspen Ice Facilities use a basic skating skills program that teaches students the strong skating skills that are important to master before moving on to hockey or figure skating.  In the basic skills classes, students will learn forwards and backwards skating, stopping, and turning.
