The survey must be taken between May 1-May 31 and the coupon codes must be redeemed before May 31, 2012.
Family FUN Day | FREE!Tuesday, April 17th, 2012Come celebrate a FREE and FUN day at the Aspen Recreation Center brought to you by the City of Aspen and KSPN. Sponsored by Aspen Youth Center, Buddy Program, Aspen Community Foundation, Kids First and Pitkin County Health & Human Services. Saturday, April 28 from 11-3pm | FREE! Come swim, skate, climb and play! Bounce houses will be set up, face painting, guitar and karate demonstrations, Hula Hoop Fun with Betty Hoops, hockey tips, Fire Department Demonstration, registration for the Lemonade Day on June 30 and more! NRC Broadcasting (KSPN) will be live all day with free giveaways from 11-3pm. Join us for all the FUN!!
Summer PassesTuesday, April 10th, 2012We have a lil’ something for everyone here at Aspen Recreation so come play at the Aspen Recreation Center for just $99 for youth and $169 for adults. This pass is valid from June 1 – August 31 and only available for purchase online at www.aspenrecreation.net.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s DayTuesday, March 13th, 2012The Aspen Recreation Center is Going Green on St. Patrick’s Day! Join us this Saturday, March 17 from 2-5pm for St. Patrick’s Day Themed games on the climbing tower and pool. Giveaways are provided by the Go Green Team of the City of Aspen encouraging reusable and sustainable practices. Cost: Daily Admission See you Saturday!
Learn to Play Rugby – for FREEWednesday, January 25th, 2012
Aside from being FUN – rugby also lets you run, kick, pass and experience teamwork. It requires a lot of energy and it teaches children to think on their feet by playing a game that does not stop for time outs or breaks in play. Youth rugby also builds self confidence and camaraderie by participating in a sport where sportsmanship is not just a word, but is embraced and expected by the sport worldwide. FREE EVENT: Elks Hoop ShootTuesday, January 3rd, 2012
Boys and girls are encouraged to compete in 3 separate age divisions. 8-9 years, 10-11 years, and 12-13 years old. Each participant will shoot 25 foul shots to determine the champion of each age division. The champions will then have the opportunity to compete at sectionals and possible advance to the National Finals in Springfield, Massachusetts. Santa is Coming to the Aspen Recreation CenterMonday, November 28th, 2011Every Holiday season Santa Claus is an extremely popular guy and you and your family are invited to visit him at the Aspen Recreation Center’s annual “Visit with Santa” day at the Aspen Recreation Center. This event is held on Saturday, December 17 from 3-6pm. Admission is free to see Santa. The day will be complete with photos with Santa, cookie decorating, live music, hot cocoa and as always – 100% pure fun! Ready, Set…GO | Gym GamesMonday, November 7th, 2011Join the Aspen Recreation Department for Gym Games beginning Tuesday, November 29 through Thursday, December 15. Tuesdays are designated for children in grades 1st and 2nd and Thursdays are offered to 3rd and 4th graders. Program runs from 3:15-4:00pm at the Aspen Elementary School Gymnasium. Cost is just $30/child. Games include kickball, tag, capture the flag, flag football, wiffle ball, basketball and more! Look for more fun in January through March – TBA.
