Within the Aspen Parks and Recreation Department, we offer many different camps to keep kids busy and having fun. We're always on top of current and fun activities to keep things exciting and new. As well as camps, we offer resources for different childcare programs to help parents feel secure and informed about who is caring for their children. 2012 Playdayz
Come play with the Aspen Recreation Department! Play Dayz with Aspen Rec is a state licensed program designed for youth 5-14 years old (5 years old must be attending kindergarten) to come have fun with the Recreation Department staff on the days that they don’t have school. The dayz will be packed full of fun & educational activities.

Drop Off: 7:30am - 9:30am
Pick Up: 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Day Camp Ages: Camp welcomes youth in the Aspen Valley youth between the ages 5-14 year olds. All 5 year olds must be attending kindergarten and provide proof.

Cost:
$40 per day

2012 Afterschool Club
Come play with the Aspen Recreation Department afterschool for our new Afterschool Club. Afterschool Club is a state-licensed program for youth 5-14yrs. Program will include homework help and lots of fun recreational activities.

Summer Camp
Come play with the Aspen Recreation Department during summer break! Summer Camp with Aspen Rec is a state-licensed program designed for youth 5-14 years old (5-year-old must have attended kindergarten) to come have fun with the Recreation Department. The days will be packed full of fun & educational activities.  Programming will include outdoor activities, aquatics, educational programs, trips, special events and much more. You won't want to miss out on all the summer fun!

NEW: Camp Swim Lessons: Mon & Wed 8:30-9:30am $5 per day Starts June 13th (CAMPERS NEED TO BE AT CAMP IN SUITS BY 8:00am). For more info on Camp Swim Lessons please contact Desiree 970-920-5140. LAST LESSON WILL BE JULY 27th.



General Camp Information:
Youth will participate in a state-licensed program with qualified counselors. City of Aspen Day Camp is a State of Colorado licensed program and follows all State Regulations. For rules and regulations, please visit:

Camper Supplies: All campers need the following supplies for camp every day!

- Lunch  - Backpack
- 2 Snacks  - Sunscreen
- Close-Toed Shoes  - Swimsuit
- Proper clothing  - Towel
   - Filled water bottle with closable cap

Day Camp Registration:
Registration forms are accepted with payment at the Red Brick Recreation Center, 110 E. Hallam and/or the Aspen Recreation Center, 0861 Maroon Creek Road. Payment is due at time of registration. Phone reservations are accepted with Visa or MasterCard. All registration forms must be completed and turned in at registration.

Proof of Residency Requirement: To receive proof of residency, one of the following must be presented from the primary caretaker of the child you are registering! This must be sent in with Registration forms (1) business day before attending.

 Refunds & Cancellations:
All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance in order to receive credit for another day. Please call the day camp message system at (970) 429-2087 and leave a message, or (970) 920-5140 for more information.

Comments, Concerns or Complaints:
Aspen City Day Camp is enrolled in a childcare program that is licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services. The license indicates that the program has met the required standards of the operation of a childcare facility. If you have not done so, please ask to see the license. We want to hear from you if you have questions or concerns about your child’s care. We will make every effort to resolve any issues or concerns you have about the program.
